Desktop
The big news for Desktop is the release of GraffitiTour! Now you can easily build beautiful, animated user tours of your app’s user interface. Teach your users how to perform functions in your application with a simple progression interface, and increase user knowledge and comfort. The tour is displayed as an overlay of your window, and each target control is shown focused, so your users will know exactly what control whose functionality you wish to explain.
Mobile
While not ignored, Mobile for iOS hasn’t seen much this release aside from what we’ll be outlining later, but some work has been put in to supporting Android for this release cycle. It’s not ready yet, but we continue to investigate ways to provide GraffitiSuite for the Android target and will have a release when it’s ready. There are still some key function and features missing from Xojo for Android that stall development.
Web
For Web, we built the simple but effective GraffitiAnchor component. This control has no visual representation in the browser, but allows you to create points on pages that you can quickly scroll the browser to using hashtags.
Desktop, Mobile and Web
For all three targets, we have the new set of Time-based One Time Password components:
- GraffitiTOTPField
A staple in the industry, this component allows the input of six-digit two-factor authentication codes and provides a means of displaying validation. - GraffitiTOTPProvider
Easily implement generation and verification of TOTP authentication within your apps to increase security without using outside APIs.
Easily secure your apps, wherever they run, or interface with other services that require TOTP authentication.
