Today we’re pleased to announce the immediate availability of GraffitiSuite Release 73 for Desktop, iOS, and Web!
No More Libraries
With Release 73 we’re switching back to source code releases. This is detailed in a blog post penned by Anthony here. The short version is that Xojo Libraries felt like too little, too late, and too unstable currently. We may someday revisit them for other projects, but they just weren’t right GraffitiSuite or its users.
This also means no more juggling registration keys and code. You copy the GraffitiSuite folder to your project, add the Copy Files build step for Web, and you’re ready to roll!
Rebuilt Controls
GraffitiProCalendar for Desktop has been built from the ground up in Xojo code for this release, no relying on JavaScript and HTML embedded in a DesktopHTMLViewer! All the power, faster load times, and more features! This also means that the traditional GraffitiCalendar has been deprecated. While most of the API and behavior is unchanged, some code will need modifications.

We also have the new GraffitiProDiffViewer for Desktop, written entirely in Xojo code. Again, we’re taking a component from the DesktopHTMLViewer to a Xojo-native codebase. Not only is it more powerful, but it’s also more beautiful!
Continuing the theme, GraffitiThumbList has been rebuild for Desktop and iOS in Xojo-native code! Sharing largely the same API, experience, and power. this new iteration completely replaces the old component for a better user experience!

All The Rest
As always, there are a number of minor additions, bug fixes, and changes for each platform that make GraffitiSuite more powerful and reliable than ever. Grab Release 73 today!
